Maricel Balanza

In 2011-2012, Maricel studied at the Healing Hands School of Holistic Arts in Escondido, CA. Shortly after, she began working for several chiropractors, spas, and resorts.

She opened her massage practice, MB Massage and Bodywork, at Solana Beach in 2015. Her work was featured in the SD Voyager, and was awarded Best Reiki Therapist in Solana Beach of 2019 & 2020. In the beginning of 2020, she temporarily closed her practice due to the pandemic. She reopened her practice in 2022, and she is now offering her services in the San Diego and Temecula area. 

As a Lomi Lomi specialist and Reiki master, she is grateful to see the world through energy and light. She also practices yoga, tai chi, and meditation, which she incorporates into her body work.

Trained and practiced at the Chopra Center, she is also grateful to share a taste of Ayurveda with abhyanga (frictional massage) and marma point therapy.
